Who we are

Hanoi Visa Run is operated by MP Viet Visa (also known as Vietnam Legal Support), a consultancy at 458 Minh Khai, Hanoi, that helps English-speaking foreigners with e-visas, visa extensions, temporary residence cards, work permits, criminal record certificates and document legalisation.

Every week we meet foreigners whose visa is about to expire and who have been told three different things by three different Facebook groups. Some of them need a Visa Run. Some of them need an extension. Some of them need a different visa entirely. Because we do all of this work, we can tell you which one applies to you, and we have no incentive to sell you a trip you do not need.

What we bring to your Visa Run

• Immigration knowledge. We work with Vietnam's immigration law and its frequent updates every day, including the 2025–2026 changes to fees, penalties and extensions.
• Border experience. We know the gates on our five routes, their hours, their quirks and their officers' usual questions.
• English-language service. All communication in plain English, in writing, so you have a record.
• Straight answers. If a trip is risky or impossible in your case, we say so before you pay.

Our team

Your Visa Run is handled by two people: a visa consultant who checks your case and prepares your paperwork in Hanoi, and a coordinator who travels with you and handles the border. Both speak English and Vietnamese. You will know the name and phone number of the person meeting you before you travel — we are a small team, not a call centre.

Transport is provided by licensed drivers and vehicles we work with regularly on these routes.

How we handle your information

Passport details are needed to arrange visas. We keep them only as long as needed for your booking and delete them afterwards unless you ask us to keep them for a future trip. Details in our privacy policy.
